Family Enrichment Activities

Central to the culture of Light the Way Academy are key activities throughout the year that:

  1. Enhance the education of our children and youth

  2. Engage all members of the family in LTWA

  3. Support a tight-knit culture of our commonwealth.

These are some of the many activities that we are excited to hold throughout the year.

Entrepreneur Day

LTWA is excited to host a booth at the Missoula Valley Winter Market on March 28, 2026 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at Southgate Mall, in the concourse right outside Scheels.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children and youth to practice the principles of entrepreneurship by selling homemade goods and learn the process of bringing an idea to market.

Full and associate members of LTWA are invited to participate in this event and sell goods at the market.

Winter Family Ball

This fun event aims to bring back dancing as an important social and family tradition. This includes the whole family and others in our LTWA community. It's a perfect opportunity to dust off your ball gown or tux and enjoy a fun family-focused night of food, music, and community.

Our February 2026 event was a big success and we are excited to host it again next year!

Dad School

As part of the end-of-the-year celebrations, the LTWA dad's takeover planning a fun day-long activity on a Saturday in nature with their own "Dad School." Activities may include everything from sports skills to Dutch oven cooking, gun or archery shooting, knots and lashings, plant identification, and more. This fun outdoor celebration aims to bring all families together as the weather warms up.
